There are several natural ways to lose weight that actually do work that a person can lose weight naturally and in a healthy way.

Check out the Natural Ways to Lose Weight

1. High Metabolism – Speed Up the Metabolism

High Metabolism – Speed Up the Metabolism

The basic fact about the body is that weight loss is a function of the metabolism efficiently burning fat. If a person does not feed the body the right foods, the metabolism gets sluggish and will not efficiently burn the fat that is consumed.

Make sense?

The best way to keep the metabolism functioning at peak levels all during the day is to feed it. That means eating five or six small meals a day instead of three relatively big meals. Feeding the metabolism is one of the natural ways to lose weight that works.

So, eat a small but nourishing breakfast, lunch and dinner, and then eat two small snacks in between. Each meal must contain a protein because proteins speed up the metabolism.

Most people struggle with what makes a healthy snack. A small apple with a tablespoon of natural nut butter is a good snack. The nut butter contains protein. Eat a hard-boiled egg and a slice of whole wheat toast. Or try string cheese and wheat crackers.

2. Interval Training – Do Exercise Regular

Another one of the best natural ways to lose weight is exercising. Exercise is also important to develop the lean muscles that help burn fat. Interval training is the new way to lose weight by exercising twenty minutes a day, three times a week. And it really does work.

Interval training means getting the heart rate to peak performance for 30-seconds, then bring it down for 90-seconds.

For example, walk at a brisk rate for 90 seconds, then jog all out for 30 seconds. Do eight repetitions of walking and jogging. Add in time for warm up and cool down and the workout can be completed in approximately 20 minutes. A person will see the weight melting away.

3. High Fiber Foods – Add Fiber to the Diet

The health guru, Dr. Oz, states that everyone needs more fiber in the diet. Now, he recommends taking Metamucil, but if you work out of the home finding a bathroom when needed can be difficult. So, eat fiber-rich foods and the urge should not be as great. Or am I the only one that needs home-base for certain bathroom habits?

Eat brown rice, wheat bread, oatmeal, beans and lentils, flax seeds, prunes and any fruit with the peel still on. These all add fiber to the diet the natural way.
