Hair is the beauty of a woman. Immaterial of the length of the hair, whether it is short, shoulder-length, or waist-length, hair adds to the beauty quotient of the person. Besides clothes, the length of your hair and the way you carry yourself or style your hair is your persona.

However, high-stress levels at work and home while commuting from work to home. The diet that we eat all lead to stress and strain on the hair.

Many times the way we comb our hair also leads to a lot of strain on the scalp. The products that we use during shampoo and conditioning. There are times that we comb our hair when it is wet and susceptible to breakage this leads to falling of the hair right from the hair shaft.

Habits such as brushing and combing hair after a bath cause breakage of the hair follicle right from the head scalp because they are weak when wet and eventually lead to hair fall when we comb.

So the first aspect is age, and the second reason for hair fall is a lifestyle. Today we cannot live without stress. We stress about what we need to eat, what we will earn, how we look.  This thinking affects the cells of our body, and the first evident sign before any disease is hair fall.

The third aspect is the environment’s highly polluted atmosphere when we are commuting to work, the dust and the grime that settles on the hair shaft making it heavier and ultimately will fall of the follicle.

The fourth aspect is bioenergy. The food that we eat today mainly consists of junk food adulterated food with fewer nutrients and more fats.

Lastly, the fifth and the most important aspect is our grooming style, the products we use to wash our hair. Over a period of time, the shampoo and conditioner create a residue on the scalp, this makes the hair shaft weak. In addition, the way we brush and tie hair pulling creates stress on the entire strand.

Now You know how much hair fall is normal & just like the leaves shedding of the trees during winter. The dry, dead hair follicles usually get weak and drop of the head. Hence it should not be a cause of worry. It is only when you notice excessive hair falling while touching or styling it that one needs to take care and strengthen the hair.

According to the dermatologist, it is normal to lose about 50 to 100 hair strands in a day.
