It is an ancient Hindu shrine perched on top of an outcrop amidst constantly crashing waves; Tanah Lot Temple is simply among Bali’s not-to-be-missed icons. The onshore site is dotted with smaller shrines alongside visitors’ leisure facilities that comprise restaurants, shops and a cultural park presenting regular dance performances.

2. Waterbom Park – You Will Love it

One of the best attractions for kids in Bali is Waterbomb, which is a huge water theme park that will keep them entertained for hours.

They will love the seventeen slides, the kiddie pool, the water cannons and especially the water bomb battle zone. If you can go on a weekday, you will beat the crowds.

3. Watch a Balinese Dance – Get Closer to Bali Culture

Give your kids a taste of the local traditions by taking them to see a Balinese cultural dance performance. Most of the big hotels feature dance performances every evening where you can see performers swirling around to live music with their colorful costumes.

Another great place to see dancing in the village of Batubulan, where dancers perform several times per day on an outdoor stage that resembles a traditional Balinese temple.

4. The Elephant Safari Park – Go Close to Nature

This fun park is approximately one hour from Ubud, Bali and it gives children a great opportunity to learn about elephants and watch these big beautiful beasts playing and bathing in the lake.

Children will also be able to enjoy hand feeding the elephants, taking photos with them and even going for an elephant ride.
