Super Strength: This Is How to Become a Bodybuilder

You have a decent body, but you’re not where you want to be. You want to be ripped. You want to be a bodybuilder.

The trouble is that you’re not sure how. After all, you don’t turn into Schwarzenegger overnight.

So, the question is: how do you make it happen? What are the keys to becoming a bodybuilder? We’re going to discuss them now.

This is how to become a bodybuilder.

Get the Diet Right

If you want to be the best bodybuilder possible, you have to get the diet right. In fact, the diet is about half of the equation. You can lift all you want, but if you’re eating the wrong foods, you won’t achieve the type of body you’re looking for.

Now, what does a bodybuilding diet look like?

First of all, it’s heavy in protein. You should be consuming 0.5 to 0.8 grams of protein per pound of body weight. So, if you weigh 200 pounds, you should be consuming somewhere between 100 and 160 grams of protein every day.

It’s also important to look at your macronutrient splits. A good macronutrient split for bodybuilders is 55% carbs, 25% protein, and 20% fat.

You can eat junk food from time to time, but it should be kept to a minimum. By and large, you should be eating clean, non-processed foods like grilled chicken, fish, yogurt, vegetables, fruits, nuts, and the like.

Establish a Lifting Plan

Bodybuilding is a marathon, not a sprint. It’s going to take years for you to achieve the physique you desire. As such, you need to establish a long-term plan and stick to it.

In the early days, you’re advised to lift heavy, say, 3 to 4 days a week. You should use primarily compound lifts, as you want to target as many muscles as possible.

Once you’ve established some muscle and some strength, you can start lifting lighter but with more reps. This will help define your individual muscles, giving you the physique that bodybuilders aim for.

If you can, find a mentor or hire a physical trainer. If you can’t, there are plenty of weightlifting resources available online. Just type “bodybuilding weightlifting routine” into Google and see what pops up.

Consider Nootropics

The last of our bodybuilding tips is to consider nootropics. Now, it’s certainly possible to gain muscle without the use of nootropics. However, if you want a professional-level bodybuilding physique, you’re going to need to use nootropics.

Nootropics are essentially just supplements that improve cognitive function. They provide users with improved energy and focus and allow them to put in the best effort possible during each workout.

Wondering how exactly nootropics can benefit your weightlifting journey? These ways right here.

And That’s How to Become a Bodybuilder

And there it is; that’s how to become a bodybuilder. Use these tips on a consistent basis, and you’re sure to achieve that professional bodybuilder physique that you’ve always dreamed of.
